Senior Staff

All of our staff are committed to providing a high quality service for our customers. Our management team possess many years of experience in the sports and leisure industry to uphold and deliver our mission statement through creating a unique company culture and work ethic. We are also an Investor in People accredited organisation.

Senior Management Team

Paul Breed

Chief Executive

Employed since 1988. Responsible for the strategic and business management of the Foundation and for the co-ordination of all service and programme delivery.


Kath Healion

Operations Manager

Employed since 1987. Responsible for all areas of operational management in relation to the Foundation's Sports and Leisure Centres and development of operational policies and procedures.


Wendy Jackson

Community Development Manager

Employed since 1990. Responsible for all areas of Community Development across the Foundation including facility, community and schools based sports and arts coaching.


Andy Adkins

Commercial Manager

Employed since 1998. Responsible for the management of all commercial services across the Foundation, including café bars, catering, room hire and commercial products.


Steve Terblans

Finance Manager

Responsible for managing all aspects of finance across the Foundation, including accounts and payroll.


Lynne Bowell

HR Manager

Responsible for the strategic development of Human Resources, including employment policies and procedures, and to manage and deliver an efficient and effective HR support service.


Aman Surey

Marketing and Communications Manager

Employed since 2004. Responsible for all areas of marketing and communications across the Foundation, including raising awareness of the brands, facilities, services, activities and events, along with associated programming and promotions.


Tom Clift

Engage! Programme Manager

Employed in 2015. Responsible for managing all areas of the Engage! programme. Engage! uses the core values of rugby (Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Enjoyment and Discipline) to provide social and educational benefits as a way of developing healthy, well-rounded, confident young people, who have greater access to opportunities and a real sense of belonging within their local communities.


Chris Panter

Health and Fitness Manager

Employed in 2015. Responsible for managing all aspects of the ‘Lifestyles Health Clubs' programme across the Foundation’s Sports and Leisure Centres.


Richard Marrs

Customer Service Manager

Employed in 2015. Responsible for managing all aspects of customer service and experience across the Foundation’s Sports and Leisure Centres.

Laura Williams

Centre Manager – Centre AT7

Employed since 2004. Responsible to the Operations Manager for all areas of facility based management, including staffing, programming, bookings and service delivery.


Martin Neale

Centre Manager – The Alan Higgs Centre

Employed since 2012. Responsible to the Operations Manager for all areas of facility based management, including staffing, programming, bookings and service delivery.


Centre Manager – Xcel Leisure Centre


Raffaella Tentindo

Environmental Projects Manager

Employed since 2003 and then jointly employed with the Living Environment Trust as from 2007. Responsible for the management of environmental processes and projects across the Foundation’s Centres, along with contract work.
